The beginning of the Second English Festival is shining because of you!

       南京外国语学校仙林分校紫东江宁学校第二届外语节开幕啦！

南外仙林分校紫东江宁学校小学部第二届外语节，在本周一拉开了序幕！本届外语节的主题是“To do the most, to show the best！”，这也体现了我们外语节的目标：积极参与、展示自我！

English Festival is an annual event that cultivates and promotes comprehensive language applying ability of students. We sing, dance and act at this festival. We have fun at this festival.

To do the most, to show the best! It is the slogan of the 2nd English festival.

外语节是热闹的、精彩的、人人参与的节日。让同学们学以致用，畅快地享受英语带来的独特魅力。

The English Festival is lively and wonderful at which students can participate actively and enjoy the unique charm of English freely.

在本次开幕式上六年级的同学们精心准备了童话故事演绎《The lion and the mouse》。灵动的表情，生动的表演引得同学们随着故事捧腹大笑。

At the opening ceremony, the sixth grade students elaborately performed the fairy tale “The lion and the mouse”. The vivid expression and performance drew cheers from the students and teachers.

三年级的同学用英语讲好中国故事。两位同学身着汉服，声情并茂地向我们讲述了《司马光砸缸》和《掩耳盗铃》的故事，完成了一次英语和古典文化的完美碰撞。

Dressed in Hanfu, students in Grade three told us the stories of “Sima Guang Broke the Vat” and “Deceive Oneself”, which is a perfect collision between English and classical culture.

一二年级的同学化身牛仔带来的歌舞表演《The Hokey Pokey》，在阳光下活力四射的舞姿感染了每一位同学。

The students of Grade one and two turned into cowboys and performed the energetic dancing “The Hokey Pokey” for us.

开幕式最后，伴随着欢快的旋律，孩子们唱响外语节节歌，跳起奔放的舞蹈。相信本次外语节的初衷：“积极参与，展示自我”，将鼓励每一位同学更加深入全面地参与到节日中来。

At the end of the opening ceremony, children sang and danced along the cheerful melody. It is believed that students will be greatly encouraged by the concept of “Active participation, showing yourself”.
